Meralgia Paresthetica is a condition that affects a nerve at the front of your hip (the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve), causing pain, numbness, and tingling sensations in the outer thigh. 

What causes a Meralgia Paresthetica ?

 

Meralgia Paresthetica can be due to tight clothing, being overweight, pregnancy or injury. 

How a Meralgia Paresthetica is diagnosed ?

The diagnosis is primarily base on your symptoms and clinical presentation. An ultrasound can can detect specific changes on the nerve to confirm the diagnosis.
